Central to the club's success in meeting its goals is its sponsorship. As a 501(c)4 non-profit organization, the club actively seeks to secure adequate and reliable sponsorship to help defray expenses such as club jerseys, LAB membership fees, as well as club promotion and events costs. The BVC is eager to work with sponsors to maximize the impact of their investment in the club. For example,

• Club members wear club jerseys bearing the names of club sponsors. These jerseys are worn year-round during training and racing and can appear in newspaper photographs and in electronic media from local and regional races.

• Club members are available for promotional events organized by sponsors.

• Bicycle riding is a colorful and exciting sport consistent with a healthy lifestyle, and as such builds a favorable image for the sponsor.

• Print exposure is provided on ride announcements and advertisements, and on banners at charity events.

• Electronic exposure is provided on the club's website and social media.

• The club's flagship event, the Double Down to the Beach, is held with the club's Double Down sponsors in mind. The Double Down is a single day event that attracts some of the east coasts best endurance cyclists. The Double Down has an established reputation within the cycling community as a professionally run event with a challenging ride for all classes of endurance riders.
